Johnny Appleseed!

Lauren learned about Johnny Appleseed at school. They made applecakes (between a biscuit and a pancake), they found the stars in apples, they painted with apples, they watched the movie, and they made pot hats. She had a lot of fun, came home singing the song from the movie, and looked so cute with her hat on!

She looks so much like you here! How fun to do all of those things! Sounds like she has a fun teacher.

Kay, someone gave us an activity kit that has some plastic in it and paint that kids can draw with the paint on the plastic. They can either trace over pictures provided or draw their own pictures. Then when the paint dries, the pictures can be peeled off and stuck to windows. It's a fun idea. Perhaps Target or a craft store has the kits. I just wanted to tell you because you mentioned the gel clings.
